Welcome to the Mill Wheel Community Estates website!
Our park, which is nestled in the trees of northwest Washington
state, is home to 134 families. Built in the mid-1970s, residents
of Bellingham seek to live in our unique environment that emphasizes
nature, not row after row of rectangular home sites. Initially
a senior park, it was opened to all families in 1997.
Today, our park offers a mature environment for residents seeking to
live in a responsible and caring community who look out for each
other to ensure resident safety.
Many of our home sites feature mature trees and waterfront. A seasonal stream winds through the center of the park, with local deer as frequent visitors. Located on the eastern edge of Bellingham, Lake Whatcom and a beautiful public beachfront park is a few minute walk away.
Please look through our community website for more information about our park. Before buying a home in our park, a credit application is required for park management approval. New residents should review material on the "Park" page prior to completing a purchase agreement to buy a home in the park. Park residents are encouraged to ask questions and discuss issues on the "FAQ" page.
Management is seriously committed to make this website a community
resource. We want to hear from anyone with ideas or comments
to help build a better community. This website has been
designed by one of our residents who volunteered for the task.
Others who wish to contribute are encouraged to do so.
